Dr. Zippermeyer's WWII Windkanone, or Whirlwind Cannon, was meant to be used as an anti-aircraft device, but failed to work at high altitudes for unreported, or unknown, reasons.

The Whirlwind Cannon generates explosions in the combustion chamber, then directs the force through the oddly designed nozzle, apparently (judging from the name) creating whirlwinds.

Smaller models reportedly worked well against wooden planks at short ranges, but only the larger model Windkanone was found on the Artillery Proving Ground at Hillersleben in April, 1945.  Dr. Zippermeyer's Whirlwind Cannon, at least the bulk of it, had been left to rust after development was abandoned.

I found this piece of CoIntelPro by a willing and useful idiot whose rap sheet is filled with lunatic, hardcore, "left-wing" conspiracy theories (such as that New York City is about to be swallowed by the ocean).  Despite a wealth of insults and deplorable search term phrases keyed to play in an echo chamber, his ardent anti-chemtrail "reporting" somehow missed 50 USC §1520a... and every other fact.

Between name-calling and fact-shaming, he begrudgingly admits that weather modification is real. But he assures anyone reading that -- should it ever be used -- it will only be for ethical reasons, like blocking sunlight (not blocking satellites, or communications, or transmissions, or spreading disease) because... "Climate Change."

Weather modification, such as cloud-seeding, has been in active use since at least the 1930s.  You can purchase live medical samples from The Rockefeller Foundation, or just join the military to get them (and everything else) free.

Gurdon Light

The Gurdon Light is one of the better-known, and examined, cases of "ghost lights."  First reported in Gurdon, Arkansas (US) around 1931, the Gurdon Light is seen over the railroad tracks in the small town in Clark County, Arkansas.  It is clearly visible, and attracts flocks of spectators -- especially around Halloween.

This photograph was taken in 1994 by the immensely popular US TV show, Unsolved Mysteries (see sidebar).  It was one of the first photos of the phenomenon considered "credible" by the scientific community.  Other photographs and footage of The Gurdon Light captured both before and since 1994 have taken on added significance, but I chose this one due to its historical import (and Fair Use).

Ghost Lights go by many names, including faery fires and corpse candles, and have been seen across the world for centuries.  They seem to be most prolific in Welsh legend, but are far from unique to the UK.  Prevailing theories explaining the Ghost Lights phenomenon include magnetic fields, mineral deposits, and the infamous "swamp gas."  While some instances are known to be manufactured (usually by, and for, criminal means), there is no official explanation for Ghost Lights.

Arkansas' Gurdon Light remains unexplained.

NEVER FORGET: 11 Microbiologists Mysteriously Died in 2002

9/11 Anthrax

Eleven prominent microbiologists were murdered, or died under "mysterious circumstances," between 2001 and 2002.  Most worked in programs involving bio-terrorism, weapons-grade biological experimentation, or defense against bio-terrorist war tactics.

The 11 mysterious deaths began just over a month after "elements of" the US government conducted 9/11.

Five microbiologists died between November and December, 2002: Benito Que, Don Wiley, Vladmir Pasechnik, Robert M. Schwartz, and Set Van Nguyen.  Of these, those that weren't murdered died under "mysterious circumstances."

The sixth microbiologist, Dr. Robert M. Schwartz, was killed by "vampires" who supposedly drank his blood in a crime allegedly orchestrated by his own daughter.  Kyle Hulbert, 18 of Millersville, MD, said he was "given permission" to murder by three creatures named Ordog, Sabba, and Nicodemus¹.  (Coincidentally, an implantable tooth which picks up radio signals then silently broadcasts them to the user through the jawbone was on display from June to November, 2002, at the Science Museum in London, as part of the "Future Product" program -- a joint effort with the Royal College of Art.)

In February of 2002, Dr. Victor Korshunov was found bludgeoned to death outside his home in Russia.  Five days later, Dr. Ian Langford was found wedged under a chair in Norwich, naked from the waist down.  On the 28^th, 38-year-old microbiologist Guyang (Matthew) Huang allegedly posed as a pizza delivery man and shot fellow microbiologist, Tanya Holzmayer, seven times when she answered her door.  He then "committed suicide" on her front porch -- allegedly.

In March of 2002, astrobiologist David Wynn-Williams was hit by a car while jogging.  The next day, a noted expert in bio-terrorism, "Dr. Flu" Steven Mostow, was killed when the plane he was piloting crashed in Denver.

We're guessing the "official story" would call this a conspiracy... theory.

1:  There was a spate of "vampire" killings in the 1990s -- particularly in the Southern United States --  all of which were blamed on White Wolf's LARP, "Vampire: The Masquerade," and marijuana use.  Thankfully, the Satanic Panic of the 1980s was winding down, and the "vampire killings" remained limited to a handful of media spectacles.  As in similarly media-fueled cases, no causal link between the game -- or marijuana use -- exists.

Remember When Clowns Predicted the Weather?

2016 was an odd year for many reasons, but some of the most interesting events involved clowns -- yes, clowns.

Starting around August of 2016, people began spotting "evil" clowns lurking about mostly wooded areas in numerous Western countries, including America, Canada, and the UK. Shortly thereafter, the clown sightings spread around the globe. In all, scary clowns would appear in some 18 countries worldwide, resulting in police reports and panic.

Costume shops in New Zealand refused to carry clown costumes, as did Target stores. Russian Embassy officials in London warned British and Russian citizens against dressing as clowns, as did American police across the country. Professional clowns in Brazil protested whatever was going on.

That this should occur around the time of Halloween caused many to dismiss the incidents as nothing more than media-induced hysteria... but then came the hurricane.

And the clown sightings stopped.

(1) any test or experiment involving the use of a chemical agent or biological agent on a civilian population; or

The US government has a long, dark, sordid history of poisoning its citizens for a variety of reasons -- usually testing for chemical and "medical" corporations, military uses, or government research.  In some cases, these government poisonings were claimed unintentional, but suppressed information always comes to light later proving this a lie.

The US government willfully, intentionally, and routinely poisons its citizens through a variety of means with malice aforethought.  "Chemtrails" is just the most recent delivery method and the most prevalent in recent years.

Unexplained Aerial Phenomena

Unexplained Atmospheric and Aerial Phenomena

YouTuber "SheilaAliens" made this video a few years back, which shows numerous clips of atmospheric phenomena that are difficult to explain. In 2016, she made a follow-up video which explains some, but not all, of the videos and images. Some people believe the sky, and many of the things in it, is actually holographic imagery termed "The Sky Matrix," or "Moon Matrix."

Some commenters suggest it may connect, in some way, to the Hollow Earth Theory, which was part of a US military co-intel operation (MISO) involving The Space Race.

Multicolored Cloud in Costa Rica

This video of a multicolored cloud over Costa Rica has gone viral.  No one seems to have a good explanation for what looks very much like something that might happen if a nuclear device were detonated above the ground.  Of course, there was no visible damage or fallout, so I am not suggesting that that is what happened, that's just what it reminds me of.

There is almost certainly a very natural and well understood reason for this oddly shaped, multicolored cloud formation, but the experts apparently have yet to weigh-in on the matter.  Some (non-experts) are calling it an "End of Times" cloud formation.

Freak Lightning Strike Kills Father

A father of one in the UK died after being struck by lightning in what experts say is a "one in 10 million" chance. Justin Feber was not touching anything metal when he was struck; he was standing on the ground, drinking a cup of tea. Horrified colleagues say a storm seemed to appear above them before they heard a loud thunderclap and saw a flash of light.

Only about five people a year die from lightning strikes in the UK.

Bad Weather Expected

Please enjoy the archives the next day or two, because bad weather is expected in the area. As regular readers know, I have lost several computers lately due to lightning and am not taking any chances now; I have been unplugging the modem from the wall when bad weather is in the area.

That is not to say I won't be here - I don't know if I will be or not. It depends entirely on the weather and situation. That is also one of the reasons I am posting furiously today.

Wisconsin's Booming

Some Wisconsin residents question the official explanation for a series of booms that was heard over several nights recently. Officially, experts say an earthquake in the area caused the booms that kept people awake over several nights. However, this is a common explanation for unexplained booming sounds - when they are acknowledged. The booming noises do seem to have ceased, however.

This reminds me of the Yellowstone Lake Music we just discussed recently. That is also blamed on seismic activity in the area.

What's All the Haboob, Bub?

Some citizens in and around Arizona have taken umbrage to weathermen's use of the word "haboob" to describe the dust storms residents have faced in recent months. These dust storms are caused by thunderstorms with high winds which pick up sand, loose dirt, and dust particles. While not uncommon to the area, Arizona has seen a large number of them recently.

"Haboob" is the term used to describe similar dust storms in other parts of the world, and technically the correct term for meteorologists. Insiders say these weathermen often use the word off-camera, but downplay it on TV to avoid confusing viewers.

Arizona is on the border of Mexico and attracts many would-be immigrants who want to enter the country illegally. Mexico is largely under the rule of large, and very dangerous, drug cartels. These crimes have been spilling into the state of Arizona for some time now and the mainstream media downplays their significance as "racism." However, Arizona residents have good reason to worry, as their state has become a hotbed of criminal activity that no one seems willing to tackle.

The controversy was actually created by a small number of people who have just enough time on their hands to not only be offended by the term "haboob," but to bother writing-in to the media outlets to express it. By and large, this fringe minority insists that Arizona's dust storms are unique from others and shouldn't be lumped-in with the rest.

Opponents say this nonsense is spurred by xenophobia, and possibly racism.

STILL Storming!!!

That title looks like some soccer mom's Facebook status update, huh? Well, it's the truth. In fact, storms knocked-out the power in much of the surrounding area over the weekend through yesterday (Monday), as well as Internet and phone connectivity. The same storm also killed one of my phonelines, my DSL modem, and the motherboard on my brand new computer.

For those of you keeping score, that is the third computer I've lost to lightning/lightning-related incidents since I moved to my current residence. It's definitely atmospheric, as the node for the entire region is just about two miles down the road and the entire Web goes down almost everytime my house does. However, I have one of those towering TV antennae on my house, as do a lot of people around here. I'm having mine taken down...

I don't know what the real cause is, but there are certain areas that retain mist and fog as well, so I'm convinced it's atmospheric in nature. The soil itself may be so mineral-rich that it just attracts ground lightning, though that seems a little far-fetched and possibly even simplistic. The truth is that I do not know enough about this sort of thing to say, but it would be far more interesting if it didn't cost so much and use-up so many PCs!

Things What Done Fell from the Sky: Flesh and Blood

For a full three minutes one sunny, cloudless day on August 1^st, 1869, flesh and blood fell from the sky, covering two acres of farmland near Los Nietos, California.  The farm belonged to a J. Hudson, who said short, fine hairs fell along with the flesh and blood.  The flesh fell in particles, as well as in strips from 1-6" in length.

Cursory research showed that a similar event happened some two months earlier, when flesh and blood rained in nearby Santa Clara County.

Things What Done Fell from the Sky - Wolverhampton Paved

According to a French magazine of the period, black pebbles fell in such quantities over Wolverhampton, England during a violent thunderstorm that they had to be shoveled away. The incident was mentioned in a summer issue from 1860; the storm was said to have taken place in June of the same year. The pebbles were described as "angular."

Ball Lightning: Eastern Airlines March 19, 1963

After Eastern Airlines Flight EA 539 was struck by lightning on March 19^th, 1963, passengers say Ball Lightning emerged from the pilot's cabin and floated down the aisle.  The Ball Lightning was about 20cm in diameter, perfectly symmetrical, and "almost solid in appearance."  It produced light equivalent to that of a 10-watt bulb and gave off no heat.

The Ball Lightning maintained "the same height and course for the whole distance over which it could be observed," according to witness, R.C. Jennison, who spoke to Nature in 1969.

Things What Done Fell from the Sky: A Mysterious Whirlwind

H.A. Boys of the North Cadbury Rectory wrote an account passed-on to him by three eyewitnesses who saw a whirlwind appear from nowhere and pick up about a ton of hay. The whirlwind lifted the hay to a height of nearly 200' before losing strength. It dropped the hay over the church's roof and grounds.

Some think bizarre showers, such as those of fish and frogs, are caused by such weather phenomena as whirlwinds. However, this does not explain most of the cases we have observed here.

The incident occurred at 3:30pm on July 28^th, 1904; two whirlwinds were reported in nearby areas, including Bristol, the following day.

Wave of Darkness - Wimbledon

At 12:25 PM, "a tunnel of darkness with light visible at either end" descended upon Wimbledon, England for about 10 minutes on April 15th, 1904.  An eyewitness said it was too dark to garden and he could not explain the phenomenon, which came quickly with "puffs of wind," but no thunder or lightning.

He inquired Symom's Meteorological Magazine readers as to whether or not the formation could have been a snow cloud, but it does not appear his question was ever answered.  The writer also noted that he saw no mention of it in the press.  It does not appear to have been mentioned by anyone else since then, though the story has been repeated.
