Hi guys, et. al.!  If you haven't noticed, I really am hard at work behind the scenes, mostly updating old posts, revising the tagging system, and editing links to external sites.

I've been aware of some serious, and seriously widespread, chicanery for a while now but it's taken longer than expected to isolate the issue(s) -- not to suggest that I've solved the problem(s), just to say that I am aware of it and am working on it.  Most of it seems to now be centered on older posts, after I was forced to remove a lot of sponsored posts that were the original targets.

Some research suggests it goes much deeper than mere attempts to annoy me or keep visitors from accessing the site.  I dare not use the word, "Conspiracy," despite the fact that it's apt.

I now have more sources than I can count!  Having dropped Amazon as a sponsor (accidentally, but I made less than $7.00 over the course of 10 years anyway), I am working on finding a new one so I can link you to them.  Should you purchase any, it's a win-win: We get a tiny bit of money to keep us rolling along and you get a worthwhile source of all things Unexplained.  I intend to post an updated list of sources soon.

In going over old posts, I realize how politically-charged this blog is, especially the earlier entries.  One can blame the hyper-politicization of literally everything, forced upon us by a biased and thoroughly corrupt media and government/military state apparatus, but it is what it is.  As such, I am likely to delve into that more in the future.

Many "Supernatural" and "Paranormal" events are actually military projects, most of which target unsuspecting, innocent civilians -- that is, War Crimes.  The perpetrators of these heinous acts rely on such deceptions to discredit accusers and derail serious inquiry.  Still, other phenomena remain unexplained and, while those continue to be the focus of this blog, it is impossible to discuss the inexplicable without mentioning the (all too often obvious) connections to suppressed technology, military overreach, and governmental/corporate corruption.

We are dealing (though not consorting, conspiring, nor trafficking) with entities that openly disregard all legalities with disdain and malice aforethought.  We proudly disseminate information that may be upsetting to some, controversial in nature, and (rarely) outright wrong, but never do we engage in "Fake News" or intentionally promote disinformation.

I am also working on future posts so we can get back on schedule, but it will likely be after the holidays before I am able to return to regular posting.

I did want to point-out and/or clear-up a few things while I'm here, though:

• Climate change is real but hurricanes do not form over dry land.
• Weather manipulation is not only real, but it is also in widespread practice: PUBLIC LAW 105—85, NOV. 18, 1997 -- US Code (UCS) at 50 USC 1520a.
• Those "snake-like" UFOs are a NASA weather experiment.
• Sheldon Adelson, Donald Trump's primary Presidential sponsor, owns two newspapers: The ISraeli ISrael Hayom and the Las Vegas Review-Journal.  Seeing as how Bloomberg is blacklisted for its alleged bias, those rags should be blacklisted, as well.  Otherwise, it is a blatantly unconstitutional violation of Bloomberg's First Amendment Rights and those of each of its individual contributors.
• The very existence of the highly unconstitutional NDAA necessarily negates the argumentative Defense of "private companies' 'Right'" to censor information and individuals.  All acts of suppression of evidence and information constitute a violation of the First Amendment, as does the oppression of contributors.
• When you illegally hack us and surveil our mail, phone, and communications, we legally return the favor.  Because International Law does not apply to you, by your own decree.  Might want to lawyer-up.  If you are being set-up, you can prove that.
• Scotland Yard's decision to not investigate the Jeffrey Epstein case due to it being outside of their jurisdiction sets Precedent for all rulings the UK makes, has made, or intends to make regarding the Internet.
• Marco Rubio should resign, effective immediately.  This is no threat, just a friendly notice.  Might want to lawyer-up, too.
• If you are a contractor, hold government contracts, or are connected to a Governmental/Military/Intelligence Agency, et. al., we reserve the right to "burn" you, period.  We're a private company, so the law does not apply to us -- according to a long series of well-documented, "legal" Precedents... and your own decree.
• There is no such thing as "National Security;" that is a cover story to blatantly abuse the Law and disregard the Constitution, and/or International Law.
• We don't hack, wiretap, or deal in stolen information; we come across everything legally and have no idea who our sources are in most cases.  The majority of our information comes from published sources, many of which are no longer in print or circulation (which, alone, tells you something). 
• We have no connection to, nor affiliation with, law enforcement, government, nor military agencies -- foreign, domestic, private, or otherwise.  We are not "at war" with any of them, we have not "Declared War" on any of them, and we have no plans of doing so.  We are, however, intensely concerned with holding them accountable when appropriate.  Insofar as that goes, the entirety of Broward County would be under arrest if any of these 17 US agencies were serious about upholding the Law and not openly involved in Racketeering.
• Linking to external sources is no indication of affiliation or association, nor even meant to suggest a belief in, or agreement with, said content.  Cross-referencing information via hypertext is how the Internet works.  In fact, we stringently disagree with some of the sources we link to on several issues.  We are acutely aware of the fact that many of the sites to which we link are blacklisted by governmental agencies such as Google and often attacked by special interests.  We're not real big on "Coincidence."  Love him, hate him, or never heard of him, what the US government did to Alex Jones is unconstitutional and illegal.
• We love our readers and are doing everything we can to protect your right to visit, share, and interact with our content.  We love hearing from you but, in many instances, we have not published your comments for your own safety.  This may be a paranoid approach but, given the overwhelming evidence of malfeasance by Big Tech and basically every government in the world, we don't think it is.  Should you be harassed, stalked, or abused after leaving comments, you have my word that no one here has anything to do with that and we suggest you contact Blogger/Google (an Alphabet, Inc. subsidiary) directly, though you will not receive a reply.
• This blog is not meant for children but contains nothing illegal nor inappropriate for kids over 13 or so.
• All of this sounds terribly scary, yet it shouldn't.  We've been around for nearly 15 years and have suffered only minor issues prior to 2015.  We're not real big on "coincidence."

Geez.  The world we live in, huh?  The world They allow us to live in... but I digress.

I'm going to try to post some more uplifting content along the way, just to keep us all from sticking our collective head in an oven, but this blog could disappear without warning at any time and I am also acutely aware of that.

Upkeep - OCT, 2019

Hi, all.  Sorry for the sporadic posting as of late but (paying) work demands more attention at the moment.  However, I am always working behind the scenes.

I won't get into all the details because many are sketchy, but US/ISraeli military officials and "private company contractors" (cut-outs and fronts) are absolutely hacking the site and tracking readers, both online and off-.  All of this bullshit in the news about "hacks and breaches," "Russian hackers," "Iranians," and "errors" is just that; those are cover stories for their online Black Ops.

Absolutely zero of our investigations have lead to foreign agencies, companies, or actors -- with one or two exceptions which actually did lead to China.  However, not unlike the US/ISraelis, those appear to have been carried-out by "independent actors" (not State-sponsored).  There's really no way for me to know that for certain, though.

ALL -- every, single one (aside from that handful of exceptions) -- lead back to the US military (Air Force, specifically), FBI/NSA/Alphabet, Inc., the UK, and ISrael.  Specifically in Alabama, specifically in Florida, specifically Texas, specifically Denver, Colorado, specifically New York, specifically Chicago, specifically MI6 (right to their Goddamn street address -- behind a lot of spoofed IPs), specifically North ISrael.

North Korea is not buzzing my house in black choppers, frightening my pets and terrorizing my houseguests.  China didn't tap my phonelines and those of my friends' and family.  Russia didn't hack my network and my parents' devices.  Iran didn't redirect my advertising traffic and revenue to police fundraising accounts in New York City and Arizona.  ISrael hacked my Grammarly account through a call center in India... just.  So you know I know.

So, I am doing what I can, as I can, to close some security loopholes, such as links to unsecured sites (HTTP vs. HTTPS) that are being hijacked to redirect traffic to sites unknown and force trending articles in the sidebar.  I've disabled Google Ads, which was blatantly hacked from inside Google after I blocked all ISraeli-based ads and those from ISraeli Sympathizers (IS).  I've removed a lot of sponsored posts that I assume were being used to hijack traffic or send some kind of coded message or something (there's no reason sponsored posts on musical instruments from 2013 should ever be trending).  And so forth.

I'm actively looking for some spooky stuff for Halloween but, unfortunately, I am not 100% certain I'll be able to get to it this year.  I am working on it, though.  If I can't post it in time, please have a Happy Halloween!

Brief Interruption

Due to circumstances beyond our control, we have to pause regularly-scheduled posts and regroup. It seems some, if not all, of our files may have been infected by the WannaCry trojan or one similar. There is no doubt that our backups were infected, and we know this to be intentional -- what we do not know is which, how many, or exactly what kind of infection they have.

While we were able to clean-up some files (we hope), we do not want to risk spreading anything, and are afraid to access backups and some accounts due to this.

We'll be back soon.

New Look, New Books

The current design is the one you're stuck with for the moment, Readers!  After several attempts, I finally settled on the current look.  I realize it is not without its flaws, but it is on theme and I don't find fault with it every time I open the damn thing.

I also invested in some new books on the subjects we cover.  Some of them are dated, and others are very general, but they at least provide jumping-off points for further research, and ideas for content.  I've settled on a schedule of one post per week for now, and have content scheduled throughout the next few months, so I have a headstart.

Be Cautious and Cookies Warning

I don't know how else to get this message through, as I can only assume that if you're reading this, you may have already been infected or tracked by malicious code. I'm not even certain that either of those issues is what is plaguing my system, thanks to Dell and Office Depot (from which I purchased this overpriced laptop that has yet to perform correctly or be replaced with a unit which does), but we are still experiencing technical issues that may or may not be affecting others.

It may have to do with incompatibility issues regarding Windows 10 and older, or other, OS; it may be malicious or simply bad coding on any of the blogs, social network profiles, and/or the website itself; it may be limited to my home network or a wifi hotspot I've connected to anywhere along the way; again, whatever is happening is far above my paygrade and technical expertise, so I can only issue this (hopefully timely) warning to anyone reading this.

WE DO NOT OWN NOR DO WE USE THEWEIRDING.COM -- nor have we been able to determine who does.

Blogger issued some kind of notice a while back saying that we needed to let you know that cookies are tracking you when you visit our blogs, but it was handily-worded so as t imply that the issue had already been resolved by Google itself... then it suddenly reformed into Alphabet and I no longer see said warning. Either way, I didn't understand what it was saying, as it was poorly-worded and smacked of fearmongering. Either way, it goes without saying that they'll find a way to disavow themselves of all knowledge regarding any issues that arise from using their services ("Hey, it's free; what did you expect for free?").

[ASIDE: Personally, I feel their logo should include those three monkeys with their hands over their eyes, ears, and mouth, but that's me. And, again, it may not even have anything to do with Blogger or Google, and may not be as widespread as I fear.]

We are still here, and still trying to make sure we can bring you "verifiable" weird news and odd bits as we find them -- without causing security or computer health issues -- but we can only do so much, especially when we aren't even sure what the problem is, nor whom it affects, or how. We have caught malicious coding on the blogs and site in the past and worked to clear them up as soon as we were made aware of them, but that's really as much as we can do.

We hope you enjoy the site and the blogs, and hope you do not encounter anything that harms your systems. These were always meant to be places where we were able to come together and discuss common interests, not scammy ad sites or opportunistic, fly-by-night ventures. We provide ads, including occasional sponsored posts, to offset operating costs and man-hours worked, as we are not paid for any of this. If these ads are deemed offensive or somehow illegal in certain locales, we've little or no control over that -- we've little to no control at all over which ads are shown, much less which ads are shown to specific geographical locations! The same is true of cookies and beacons, et. al. -- some of which we need to gauge performance, as Alphabet's (nee Google's) numbers are always changing and often incorrect.

We've encountered good and bad people along the way on every side of these issues -- one woman cited our website for our 404 page because it has a single, black dot representing a nipple! Luckily, most of the people we've actually had contact with aren't that aggressive, nor that perverted.

Speaking of which, we are not at all involved in GaymerGayte nor anything surrounding it. Almost all of this content is based on research, or is wholly original content, by the author(s) listed (almost all of which is by C. Harris Lynn). Many of those who have contributed play[ed] video games, but this author only plays World of Warcraft and a handful of Steam games, and is happy to repeat that I've only encountered a handful of nasty, spiteful, and hopelessly prideful, people along the way who caused issues that largely made me lose interest in continuing playing regularly.

The blogs and the site, including the social networks on which we have posted (and may or may not continue to post), are for adults only -- which is 18+ years of age in this area, but may be younger or older in your locale. This author is neither anyone's parent nor anyone's police, judge, nor jury; please enjoy responsibly!

This does not constitute a legal document nor binding agreement; this is merely another "technical issues" post. The first two Ws in "www" stand for World-Wide, and we are neither familiar with the laws in every locale, nor do we care to be. Update

I didn't realize it had been so long since I posted!  As I've complained about elsewhere, I have had nothing but trouble from my new computer for the last several months.  With any luck, that may have been finally resolved.  My ISP is overloaded but not "at capacity," so there's no work order -- accounting for the interruptions and slow speeds over the last several months.

I'm still playing with the color template.  I have several stories I've collected since I have been away, as usual -- I have no idea if I'll publish any of them, as usual.  If I finally have these computer issues resolved, I may be able to get back to posting regularly.  There's nothing I can do about the internet connection, but that shouldn't affect posting.

Despite searching, I found nothing on Admiral Byrd -- or very little, I should say.  I did come across a large biography but it made no mention of Operation: High Jump.  I'll be posting more links to documentaries and similar programs you may find interesting.  Some of these may be controversial, even hoaxes, but if I think enough of you will dig it, I'll likely post it.

Accuracy and Veracity

For what it's worth, we strive to make a distinction between "real" (hard, or solid) evidence and hoaxes, mistakes, and the like. However, we are not accredited scientists, we do not have physical access to any of this "evidence," nor can we speak directly to any eyewitnesses. While we have shared a handful of stories from others that we picked up along the way, as well as personal accounts, that's as close as we can get. In a very real manner, we are yet another spoke on that incestuous wheel, quoting and sharing stories from other published accounts.

All we can do is follow proper procedure, which means finding a second source to "confirm" the first one. The problem is that, in this never-ending echo chamber, many of those sources got their information from the same place. It's a problem and we understand it, there simply is nothing we can do about it.

So please do not dismiss us as hogwash just because we publish a story that later turns out not to be true. We do our best to distinguish between real and false stories but we are at a definite disadvantage. Mostly, we share stories that interest us and we hope you will find interesting, even if they are not entirely truthful. We also do our best to weed-out the latter or at least admit when we are uncertain of the veracity of a story or claim.

Sometimes, our posts are purely speculative - as is a lot of "paranormal research" - and shared simply because we enjoy this field and that kind of thinking. Again, it is only speculative and not meant to be taken at face value.

Update

I realize this is taking longer than expected and I sincerely apologize but we really can't get back to business until we hammer-out the details. Changing the background and all of that wiped-out, or interferes with, some of the stuff we had on here - some of which is technical and necessary (such as a hit counter) - and we're trying to get that stuff back on here and working again. Of course, it had been years since we did anything like this here, so many of those providers have changed their policies and installation procedures, et. al., as has Blogger, which is a whole other headache.

Anywho, we have drafts backed-up for weeks but we can't get back to regular posting until things are working correctly. I'm doing what I can but if I can't get it straightened-out soon (possibly by the end of this week), I may do another major overhaul to see if that fixes things. I'll let you know beforehand if that's what I decide to do. I'm also taking some online collegiate courses that will help (one is on magic in the Medieval Age), so I'm currently pressed for time.

I held-off on posting these "updates" because I know that's kind of weak but since it's taken so long, I decided it was best to post some along the way. This entry is actually technically necessary to find out if I've reinstalled some things correctly and if they're working, so... Thanks for understanding and see you soooooon!

New Template

We haven't heard any feedback regarding the new design. We know it has some problem areas and we are working to resolve those issues but this is the basic look and feel for the new OddBlog.

We also realize that things have slowed to a crawl here, almost a full-stop, but we're busy with other projects at the moment that will supplement our little paranormal pixel park. The Weirding is a large site filled with lots of media and we're in the process of wrangling content while simultaneously producing new stuff, so time is a limited factor. Still, we hope to bring you more stuff soon.

Design Difficulties

We realize things look a little awkward right now the problem is that we don't know why they look awkward; we did a design trick we've used on the other blogs without issue but it isn't working so well here for whatever reason. Instead of doing the normal thing - tearing-out everything and starting over - we left what we have in-place and are still trying to isolate the situation. Some of these posts will have the new background while others will not as we implement new design features and test them out as we go to save time.

We know we said we were doing this several months ago but we also told you it was a tedious process that would take some time. We had to get our ducks in a row just to get this far without a major blowout so we hope you'll stick with us while we finalize some of these things.

We hope you like what we have so far, it's loosely based on the previous design, and hope you come back to see where this goes.

New Design Incoming

I know it's been slow here for a while but things should pick-up here in coming months. As I've mentioned previously, if you haven't visited the core site in a while, please take a moment to do so, as we're restructuring, reorganizing, and redesigning everything - which includes The OddBlog.

It is going to take a while to get to everything and if World of Warcraft has taught me anything, it's that many people do not care for change. We understand that you have become familiar with everything and we hate to disrupt that, but it's long past time that we improve the look and feel of this place, as well as the navigation.

In the years since this blog was established, things have changed dramatically - this includes Blogger, social networking, information sharing, even HTML - and we need to upgrade. We have a few designs from which to choose and will be playing with these elements over the coming weeks; we are not certain as to which of these will best serve our purposes and may have to modify them even after placement.

Returning Soon

Sorry for the scant posting lately but, as I said a few years back, I had to devote a lot of time toward other pursuits in order to afford to live. Now that I can no longer afford to live and refuse to work both day and night just to barely survive, I should have a little more time to post.

I actually planned to post more often the last few months but my desk fell apart a few months back and I had to find a way to afford a new (very inexpensive) one. Honestly, as much as I enjoy blogging, it simply doesn't pay for itself anymore, which makes it harder to devote resources toward.

Brief Note

In looking over the drafts, there are a lot of stories I've collected over the last several months that I haven't gotten around to posting yet. Some of the posts I'll be making today and tomorrow are going to be from a few weeks, even months, ago. The good thing is that I can now go back through and look for follow-ups to these stories and report them at the same time. Still, you may have heard many of these reports already and I apologize for that. The holidays are busy for everyone, I think.

New Project

I am working on a new project that really has very little to do with this blog, though it may excite some readers. I am not at liberty to discuss it at this point, as it is still in its very early stages, but a lot of my time has been spent on this project recently and I expect a great deal more time will be spent on it in the future, so I wanted to let you know that things may continue to be slow for now.

I have been running this blog for a long time now, so long time readers know not to worry; everything is fine and good and The OddBlog will continue to serve up news of the weird, just more slowly for the immediate future. Things have been pretty sporadic here lately, so I am just confirming what you already knew.

Reminders

Hi guys and gals, I just wanted to remind you of how a few things around here work so there's no confusion - or at least less than there may have been.

Comments are moderated, so your comment will not be seen when you first submit it. They are usually on the site within 24 hours or so, but it may be longer. 



Stories are generally "updated" through the comments. As new information becomes available, instead of writing a new post, I will usually just include the new information in the comments section of the original post. To subscribe to a post, see the comments section for options. Once subscribed, you will be notified of new comments as they are left.

We have no set schedule, so posts sometimes appear in rapid succession or they may not appear for several days at a time. We try to post at least one story every weekday, but that is not always possible. Subscribe to the RSS feed to stay on top things, or check back at least a few times each week for new material.

I post this information about once every year or so, just to remind everyone of how things work here. I hope it's helpful and, as always, thanks for reading!

Apologies

I know things have been sparse the last few weeks, but it was largely due to weather and a lack of a decent computer. I've talked about getting the new computer and how I was having to use the backup box, which only has 1GB RAM and a bad hard drive. I couldn't install all the programs I use on it and I have been unplugging the modem at the first sign of bad weather, which we've had a lot of here the last few weeks. I haven't been able to make any changes or updates to the entire website for the last six weeks or more, and I haven't been able to file my taxes because of this, so it hasn't just affected this blog.

As I said the other day, I got the new computer and I'm happy to report that things are going as well as could be expected. I have installed most of the programs I use and have even gotten some of those programs configured, but I am still working. I also have to admit that I bought a new computer game and have been playing it incessantly since last week. I needed some entertainment, though.

New Computer

I just got the new computer - the latest in a long string that I've been forced to purchase due to continued lightning strikes on the phoneline - and am setting it up and working out the kinks and so forth. I will probably be away for a few days doing this, though I cannot say for sure. Luckily, I use a third-party bookmarks system, so all my bookmarks are intact.

There are also storms in the area, as there have been off and on all week, and I am unplugging the modem when the weather gets bad in the area. This is another reason things have been slow here lately.
