Cult Leader Kills "Gay" Boy, 4

Peter Lucas Moses, a cult leader from North Carolina, faces the death penalty for killing a 4-year-old boy he thought to be gay, as well as a 28-year-old woman who was barren and wanted to leave the group. Moses presided over a house in which four women and nine children lived. He was the father of all the children but the one he murdered.

According to testimony, Moses told 25-year-old Vania Rae Sisk to get rid of her 4-year-old son Jadon Higganbothan because he might be gay. Moses is said to have believed this because the boy's father left Sisk. After learning that Jadon had hit another of the children on the bottom, Moses told the women to setup computer equipment and speakers. While religious music played, he took the boy into the garage and shot him.

In December, Peter Lucas Moses and the other women beat Antoinetta Yvonne McKoy throughout the day before he shot and killed her. Sisk is said to have brought him the gun. McKoy managed to get free and run to a neighbor's house, but the neighbor refused to call police for reasons undisclosed or unknown. Though McKoy begged for her life, the women were afraid Moses would go back to jail and insisted he kill her. The cult then taped the body into plastic bags and placed it in a dumpster - but not before displaying it to friends and family.

All of the surviving cult members face first-degree murder charges in North Carolina.

Another California Beauty Queen Wants Gays Put to Death

Lauren Ashley, set to represent Beverly Hills in the upcoming Miss California pageant, told a reporter "The Bible says that marriage is between a man and a woman... [and] 'If a man lies with mankind as he would lie with a woman... [he] shall surely be put to death,'" quoting Leviticus. "The Bible is pretty black and white," the retard California beauty queen said.

Carrie Prejean, also a former California beauty queen turned amateur porn starlet and Christian spokesperson, didn't exactly expect homosexuals to be put to death, but echoed similarly retarded statements at the Miss USA beauty pageant last year. Prejean claimed her "personal views" on homosexuality and religion cost her the title.

Beauty queens are not known for their education, wisdom, intelligence, or empathy, but should be careful when quoting The Bible, as it clearly allows for one to offer his wife or daughter in lieu of payment - even sell them into slavery! Leviticus in particular also says the smell of burning bulls is pleasing unto the Lord and so bulls should be burned alive... to please the Hebrew God.

Christians favor homosexual sex with male children. But they won't marry them.

British Reporter Infiltrates Homosexual 'Curing' Camp

A happy, openly-gay, British reporter infiltrated the growing world of homosexual "conversion" - the practice by which Christians attempt to "convert" homosexuals into heterosexuals. The practice is apparently infecting "legitimate" psychologists in England, who consider SSA - "Same Sex Attraction" - to be an illness, despite the fact that it was de-listed as a mental illness over 35 years ago. This cult of psych-workers is being directed by American-born Christians who are known leaders in the conversion "movement." Despite all of this, the NHS (National Health Service) is actually referring patients to, and paying for, these treatments.

During his research, the reporter learns that the doctors pray before and following each treatment session, which costs about $75.00. The belief is that the desire to be homosexual originates during childhood and is spurred by overbearing mothers, distant fathers, and loneliness. So is a traumatic birth and Freemasonry.

Perhaps most telling, whenever the doctors involved do not get the answers from the patient for which they are looking, communication is broken so the doctor can pray for the patient, asking God to enter his life and illuminate the sexual abuse which "[needs] to come to the surface." Whenever tempted - by attraction to the same sex or even the desire to masturbate - the patient is told to pray, informing God that he "[knows] this is wrong." These desires, attractions, et.al. are termed "The Enemy." In Judaeo-Christian mythology, Satan is Latin for "The Opposed."

According to the reporter, there are other approaches which do not place the same emphasis on Christianity - and make no mistake about it: this is a Christian offense, not a "religious" or "spiritual" one - but the psychology behind the belief that homosexuality is a "pathology" is pinned on some sort of trauma to the patient during his childhood. Those who do not uncover, and deal with, this "wounding" tend not to be helped.

Lest you think I am being prejudiced in my assessment, I urge you to read the report for yourself. Not only does it illuminate this conversion process and the thought-process behind it, it is a heartbreaking examination of Christian intolerance - particularly since the largest branch of this religion is guilty of child sexual abuse on a massive, international scale. But looking beyond even that, which I agree is an easy and simplistic connection, though I disagree that it makes it any less valid, we see that Christianity continues to encourage separation, division, and, ironically, judgment of your fellow man (and woman) - all of which stands in stark opposition to Christ's teachings and life; Christ taught his followers not to judge others, was known to consort with prostitutes and thieves, and openly administered help to the lepers who were abandoned by their fellow Man and left to die.

It should come as no surprise that this terrible concept of "conversion" comes directly from the Southern Baptists, an abominable denomination of hatemongerers whose biggest proponents openly promote intolerance and schism. The first "conversion camps" originated - where else? - in Tennessee, the mecca of Southern Baptists, where the legal, judicial, and penal systems have been completely infiltrated and corrupted by this aggressive religious sect.

That they seek to spread their hatred is not shocking; that their infection continues to spread though, is grounds for considering the Southern Baptist denomination a terrorist organization - one whose battlecry is "God Hates Fags." While we can sit back, shake our heads, and cluck our tongues at such obviously retarded behavior, the truth is that teaching others it is right, even just, to consider others less than ourselves because they are different is nothing short of hatemongering and is dangerous, offensive on every level, and should be abolished.

Greece Frees Cross-Dressing Britons

17 male Britons from Bristol were arrested in Crete for "scandal and misrepresentation of a costume or uniform." Police received accounts of the men lifting their fancy dresses and nuns' habits to reveal G-strings or their bare bottoms. They weer arrested Sunday and spent the night in jail. They faced a judge this morning in the same dress in which they were arrested. The British Embassy in Athens confirmed all 17 were freed.

Apparently, Malia has been crowned a "party spot" by young, British travelers, joining the list of several other resorts on the islands. The behavior of young Britons in Greece reached scandalous heights in 2005, with Greece's tourism minister calling an emergency meeting after photographs of Britons having sex in public appeared in newspapers in both countries. In 2003, a British vacationer was killed in a bar brawl started by Britons. A month later, another British adolescent was charged for starting a brawl.

The Greek mayor also blames the hundreds of Greek bar and club owners and vacation agents who organize pub crawls and encourage drunkenness. Charges of orgies, rape, and more have been levied at vacationing Britons throughout the decade.

Ted Haggard

I recently watched HBO's documentary, The Trials of Ted Haggard, and I want to be the first to say The OddBlog jumped the gun. We didn't crucify the guy, but we certainly assumed Ted Haggard was just another one of these self-righteous "Christians" who got busted and was trying to play it off. Ted Haggard deserves a second chance, but if he wants to take that second chance in the same church and among the same people who have so cruelly harmed him, abandoned him, mocked him, humiliated him, and torn his and his family's life asunder, he's a fool.

Ted Haggard's situation clearly illustrates everything that is wrong with so-called "Christians" today - especially in America. Christianity is not the same as a belief in God; Christians specifically believe that Jesus Christ was the avatar - the living embodiment of God - who died on the cross to absolve them of their sins. Jesus Christ preached tolerance and love for all - something which no self-proclaimed "Christian" affiliated with any of these large churches practices.

I'm not gay, so I don't sympathize with homosexuals' anger toward Haggard for not "identifying" as/with being gay. Logically, I don't understand this because it seems he would do more harm to their cause than good, but I don't "get" it, either way. I completely understand they've been persecuted historically, and still face persecution - I get that much of it and could not agree more - particularly by "Christians." In fact, homosexual men are the only American minority aside from native Americans who actually do face "racism" these days. But why would you want Ted Haggard on your side, given his very public fall?

Also, though Haggard spoke against homosexuality as part of his ministering, as he noted in the documentary, he was not a hateful, fire and brimstone, Cotton Mathers sort of preacher; it's not as if Fred Phelps were "outed" here. I actually read a piece on the matter on a popular gay site where they condemned Haggard and the very first comment was a poster inquiring about the sex acts and positions in which Haggard was involved with one of his alleged lovers - trying to make the point that this information was necessary for anonymous commenters on a gay website to assess the lover's possible medical status!

The American homosexual community is as delusional as their Christian counterparts and always has been. A mockery of themselves in every way, the Ted Haggard scandals have brought out the worst in both sub-sects. And while I question Haggard's sincerity, I feel for him and his family. I have no sympathy for Christians or the homosexual community, as a whole.

How puerile and jejune, this American obsession with sex and sexuality! It fits the very definition of the word, "retarded." And both Christians and homosexuals are guilty; they really are the opposite sides of the same coin! I find it equally intellectually repulsive that both identify their entire lives with either their religion or sexual proclivities - again, it's an impedance in development, i.e. retarded.

Get over yourselves!

And leave this man alone, for Christ's sake.

Mystics Combat Wi-Fi with Orgone

Glastonbury, long a pilgrimage destination and center for alternative medicine practitioners, is also home to a pioneering, city-wide wi-fi system. But many of the town's residents blame the resulting EMF (electromagnetic fields) for all manner of illnesses, saying it disrupts their chakras and even the ley lines. According to them, the EMF (and radiation) generated by the wi-fi masts are causing headaches, nausea, even pneumonia!

While many are petitioning to have the masts removed, one Matt Todd has resorted to fighting back using orgone-based technology -- small, pure-energy generators made of quartz crystals, selenite, lapis lazuli stones, and gold leaf and copper coiling -- which is said to absorb and recycle the "negative energy" produced by the wi-fi masts. Orgone science was developed by William Reich in the 1930s, who posited that all living matter generates biological energy. It is actually based on the teachings of Sigmund Freud, and closely related to sexuality and Freud's libido theory: Orgone energy and orgasm share the same etymology.

Though only a single yellow journalist (repetitious) decried Reich's research, it was enough for the US government to set in motion their conspiracy to silence him (in fact, it was part of this conspiracy), and his research destroyed.  A joint task force involving the corrupt FDA and FBI (repetitious) worked to discredit his work, then tried him in absentia (likely without his knowledge), and incarcerated him for Contempt of Court.

While proponents of Glastonbury's free wi-fi insist there is no link between the wi-fi and the alleged illnesses, even some who embraced the wireless technology have since turned their backs on the idea, claiming they develop symptoms when using Glastonbury's free wi-fi that clear-up when they switch back to a traditional broadband system.

Opponents of Orgone science insist there is no evidence to support its existence. The effects of EMF, however, are well-documented, and have long ago been weaponized by military units. While "traditional" health "officials" confess electromagnetic fields negatively impact people's health, they claim that there is not enough data to conclude how dangerous EMF is. 

Glastonbury's city-wide wi-fi system is a pioneering effort: It is the first city in the UK to have free, area-wide Internet access -- something which displeases both the telecom industry and Britain's deadbeat government, alike.

Born Gay

Brain scans of nearly 100 people of various sexual orientations proves that homosexuals' brains are similar to heterosexuals' of the opposite sex, leading researchers to conclude that sexual orientation is established in the womb.

Basically, gay men's brains look like straight women's and gay women's brains like straight men's. This is not really "news," since previous studies found similar results. What troubles me is that this research leaves out bisexuals, which is a very real and actual sexuality; some people enjoy sex with either men or women, whether or not they have a general preference. It also eliminates any study into sociological factors.

I have always said that some people are "born gay," while others definitely make a choice and/or have that choice made for them (due to sociological factors, such as childhood sexual abuse), and though this research proves that I am at least half-right, it sheds absolutely no light on what I consider the bigger picture.

Sexualization Harms Youth

We have touched on this theme here before and I always feel the need to remind readers of why I feel subjects like this are important to the overall study of the paranormal and Unknown in general, so I'll hit all the bases as we go along:

US scientists are confident that the early sexualization of young people causes serious psychological damage which can result in physical problems later in life. Again, this study focused on young women - and I agree that young women are probably more sensitive to these matters and definitely more targeted than young men - but I feel similar repercussions can be felt by the young male audience. You have to remember that even if boys and adolescent males do not suffer the same sexualization, they are influenced by this propaganda so as to further it; they are also conditioned to view young women similarly. So while boys might not feel the same need to have perfect bodies, they are conditioned to expect this from young girls, which further perpetuates the problem.

And while the crux of the matter here is social responsibility on the part of the corporations and advertisers (fat chance; they willingly bear none), there is also a societal responsibility which we all bear in holding them responsible - but none of this matters here. The reason studies and subjects such as these are important to the issues with which we concern ourselves is because they reflect societal values and morés which are important in other areas - specifically the Supernatural and cryptozoological.

All too often, matters such as hauntings, dæmonic infestations and possessions, UFO sightings, and cryptozoologically-related events are dismissed as "mass hallucination," "superstition," "uneducated guesses," and the like. So when you get down to it, all of these larger issues play into what we are studying and looking for quite directly, and we need to be aware of how they work. While young womens' sexualization may have nothing to do with the paranormal specifically, I would not be surprised to hear of a situation in which the parents of a hypersexual young girl (or one who, perhaps, began displaying extreme and/or advanced signs of sexuality) believe the child may be possessed and are told she is simply the victim of irresponsible advertising. The thing here is that either explanation could be correct, so it is important to keep an eye on both so we can try to keep a handle on "The Bigger Picture."

Teacher-Student Relationships, the Double-Standard

I was watching the South Park episode, Teacher Bangs a Boy, where Ike's teacher initiates a sexual relationship, and the news has been filled with this sort of traditional "role-reversal" here in America as late, so I wanted to address it.

Yes, I have been thinking too much lately, and while this is a paranormal-based blog, philosophy, sociology, psychology, and similar matters are always important to these studies - especially since so many "mainstream" researchers and scientists often point to changes in, or a general lack of knowledge on, these subjects to explain-away a lot of genuinely paranormal phenomena. Now, exactly how this particular topic is applicable to anything paranormal, I can't say; it may well not be. But it does have to do with sociology, philosophy, morals, mores, and values - all of which are important - so I include it.

As the episode illustrates, and many have pointed out before, there is an incredible double-standard involved in these molestation cases: when an adult male is the perpetrator, he is socially and criminally condemned; when a female is the perpetrator, the entire case is all but openly laughed about. It isn't even so much the double-standard involved here that bothers me; I truly wonder if there is a psychological difference in the cases.

One of the biggest excuses/reasons I hear whenever it is discussed is how "some boys are very mature for their age." Yet, traditional knowledge tells us that girls mature faster than boys... so how is it that boys who enter into sexual relationships with older women are naturally more mature and therefore, it's not as big a deal as when the roles are reversed? Why is it that only girls can be victimized thusly? Again, ignoring the obvious social double-standard at play here, is there any scientific truth this this concept; are young girls more predisposed to lasting psychological damage from such relationships?

Obviously, society plays the largest role in this, as it decides to see and portray the girl as victims, but not the boys. And while this is dangerous to my mind, what is even more dangerous is the implication: that young boys who engage in sexual relations with older women are "manly" and to be quietly revered, while the young girls are to be pitied and coddled. These are dangerous concepts for a host of reasons, but the most important is the legal ramifications for the perpetrator; the adult male is seen as a victimizer, while the adult female is seen as psychologically or emotionally disturbed - and each is handled accordingly by the law.

That is the real double-standard at play here.

But is there really a similarity in the psychological damage young boys and girls experience as a result of these relationships, or are they so different that they deserve to be separated as they are? And do the young people in these relationships later display similar behavior and psychology? We know that molestation victims tend to become hypersexual in adulthood, but is this true for both genders?

Further, given the sociological double-standard at play in such cases, is anyone even bothering to look into these matters?

Bigots Split with Church

The congregation of the San Joaquin diocese in Fresno, California voted to secede from the Episcopal Church because they despise homosexuals.

The Episcopalian Church appointed a gay bishop in 2003 and the church has struggled internally with this decision since then. The Church said that 32 of its 7600 congregations had left, with another 23 voting on the issue. San Joaquin is the first diocese to complete the split.

The diocese then accepted an invitation to join a conservative South American Anglican congregation.

It is true that The Bible contains many passages condemning homosexuality, but Christianity was supposedly founded on the teachings of Jesus Christ, whose primary message stressed the issues of acceptance, forgiveness, and love.

Homosexuality does not appear in the Ten Commandments, though both adultery and stealing do. This is very interesting to me because so many self-proclaimed Christians are very forgiving of drug addicts who routinely participate in thievery, as well as the time-honored practice of cheating on one's spouse. For some reason, these people - who are committing sins, according to the Ten Commandments set forth in the Old Testament - "have problems," whereas homosexuals are to be "damned to Hellfires for an Eternity."

The Episcopalian Church made great strides in proving their commitment to Christ's teachings when they appointed the openly gay Gene Robinson to the office of bishop in New Hampshire in 2003, but some of their members are dead-set on leaving a legacy of hatred, bigotry, and discrimination.

More blood has been shed in the name of the Christian God than for any other reason throughout the history of Mankind.
