Woman Burns Herself Outside Church - Again

I keep telling people just how far behind the times Tennessee really is. It truly is shocking and the simplistic, "Well, think about where you are!" is no excuse.

In December of 2008, a woman set herself ablaze outside the Grace Evangelical Church... again! She had set herself on fire outside the same church just two months earlier. This time, she poured gasoline on herself from a milk jug. She suffered burns on 80-90% of her body and was in critical condition.

The woman was not identified except as being from Ethiopia. The church has a large Ethiopian congregation. Church spokespeople said she does not have a vendetta against the church and used to be a member.
