A San Antonio man was successful in shutting down a website which sold white tank-tops, often called "wifebeaters," and offered a discount to anyone who could prove they had faced charges for domestic violence against a woman.
The webhosting company pulled the site for TOS violations after receiving the complaint. The site's owner had no comment when contacted by phone.
The Texas man who started the rigamarole said he would continue to search for the site online and continue to complain about it, should the owner try to set it up through another host.
