A Leg Up

42 year-old David Huckvale read about cyberlimbs available in America and began saving money for one. In fact, he even started buying a lottery ticket every week in hopes of landing that much-needed windfall. He had one of his legs removed at age 29 because of a benign tumor and has been walking on a false leg since. And so it was when he sat down at his local pub to drown his sorrows.

While the lottery tickets never paid-off, Huckvale happened to sit next to one Alistair Gibson, who just happens to be a specialist in fitting the cyberlimbs. He told Mr. Huckvale he could fit him for free and even had a spare bionic leg he could have.

David Huckvale calls the chance encounter, and subsequent life changing experience, a "miracle."
