Residents in the Midwest were stunned by a fireball, which blasted through the April 14th night sky. Some heard a sonic boom, others witnessed the smoking tail, and still more actually captured the event on video - including a policeman whose dash-cam recorded the meteor.
Yes, it was confirmed a meteor by a... wait for it. Meteorologist.
One expert said it was "The brightest thing most folks have seen in the sky beyond lightning or the sun."
