Dubbed "Robin Hoods" by the Greek media, people are taking to storming grocery stores, where they steal staple items, such as rice, pasta, and milk, and set them in the streets for citizens to collect.
While they use ambush techniques, such as wearing hoods and leaping the counters, they never steal money and have yet to hurt anyone.
Rising food costs have replaced unemployment as the Greeks' main concern.
